Respected Visu Sir,

Kindly see the forwarded mail. This is the reaction received from Dr. V. Ramamurthy
Professor and Chair of Chemistry, University of Miami
Senior Editor, Langmuir, American Chemical Society, one of the precious stone in TOSA's crown. Kindly see. He was residing opposite to my house during our TDR days. He was the class mate of my elder brother. Our parents were both school teachers.....contemporaries. We all studied in bed-room light,...walked down to school with bare-foot throughout our school days. Sri Ramamurthy used to write articles in TDR Times and always prefer to mention in the article as " Ramamurthy, # 2 - Mahadana Street, instead of other attachments. He was very particular about it. A great man with humility to the Core, proud student of our School.

Regards
M.Subramanian
Vice President
TOSA.

Dear Mali:

Thanks for the information.   I took a quick look and I am really honored that my name was mentioned.   I fully agree with Visu's comments about serving as role models for the future generation.  Now our life is almost at the last phase.   Our job should be to motivate the younger generation and show what is possible even from our little town.

I have been very busy for the last one month.  Have been meaning to write another article in TDR times about what motivated me to become a scientist.   Looking back, our days were the golden years of TAHS---I am sure every generation will say the same (hope it has been the case).  I have some guests at home and will write later in detail.

Thanks once again for informing me.   Also kindly pass on my appreciation to murthy, suppini and ramu for doing a great job with Makkal Arangam and TDR times.   It is they who have made TDR a bit more visible.   Normally I don't believe in publicity but these days without extra push everything goes into noise.

Ramu

Dear Mr. Subramaniam,

Thank you for your e mail.  That attachment sent along with the mail
was not a mere forwarded one.  A pat at our back for our works
from of one of the 10 stalwarts of Thiruvidaimarudhoor School .

We are really, really honoured.

One of his lines in his e mail is a really a golden one.
How simple it is, but, what depth it has.
