Happy Diwali
Diwali-a festival of light, spreading delight,
Rejoicing is everywhere to a great height!
Diwali-a festival of light, spreading delight,

Over the years, we shared the joy with friends,
The last few years, oh, a change in trends!
Happiness all around with kith and kin, to us so near,
Suddenly we find us amidst an extended family so dear!
Deafening noise of crackers, all thru’ day and night,
For us the thundering verses of TDR times sound right!
The sparklers in kinds, emitting light in hues that amaze
But would they equal those lines, each Sunday morn we graze?
The sweets that delight all, from a child to a man of eighty,
Can they stand anywhere near the pens of ours that are mighty?
Pleasantries exchanged, we ask,’ Had your early morn Ganges bath?’
Ah, this is once a year, be aware, Ganges flows for us every Sunday.
Hiding Jacks have started, one after another to emerge,
Their only aim, for sure, is to with TOSA to merge.
TOSA is our religion; festival for us is the day we meet,
Whence bloomers in hundreds blossom for a unique treat.
Still here, giving dearth less mirth, is a calendar Diwali Day,
Our Greetings to all our brethrens, for your happiness we pray.
Oh, my dear TDRites, may this Diwali bring you happiness,
Prosperity and joy that may last thru’ years and years!
